Teeth don’t need to suck.

Teething…my favorite, favorite stage. Please tell me you can sense the sarcasm there. Colt is 6 months old and currently cutting his 3rd tooth. Honestly, cutting teeth is a bit like sleep training…it’s all about finding what works, and what doesn’t.

We had Sophie the giraffe for awhile.. up until our lab Remi chewed him up. I honestly couldn’t even be that mad because the stupid thing felt and sounded like a dog toy. Colt wasn’t upset, he never cared to chew on it, he always made a strange face as if it tasted bad. That ended up being one heck of an expensive dog toy…

I could easily share with you all of the duds that we have encountered but that wouldn’t help now would it 🙂

The Munchkin Fresh Food Feeders are amazing! I typically freeze grapes (you can freeze really anything!)  or just throw an ice cube inside! It’s a great high chair activity and keeps those chompers and baby happy.

The Nuby IcyBite Keys work wonders! I throw them in the freezer and give them to Colt during bath time! He tends to drool a lot more with these since they are so cold, and stay cold!

Crochet Wooden Teething Ring  another one of our favs from Tenth & Pine, it’s easy to grip and doesn’t get soggy and gross like other fabric teethers we have used! It’s a definite keeper.

and last, but not least, the current #1 fav of Mr. Colton- the Brixton Phoenix Silicone Teething Ring  It’s durable, easy to clean, and really seems to relieve any discomfort almost instantly. The minute he fusses and sticks the ring in his mouth he is as happy as can be… and so am I! It’s a win win 🙂
